Many Beagle breeders, businesses and companies contact us wanting to be part of our network. Out of all the applications, only a tenth make it through, due to our strict vetting process. They have to pass our Breeder Pledge, they have to be authentic and genuine, and highly translucent for us to take them on.
You’ll be interested to know that our Breeder Pledge has 47 points that all Beagle breeders, businesses and companies have to comply with. Some points that must be complied with are: all puppies must be free of genetic diseases or conditions which may affect their health, all mother dogs may only give birth to 4 to 6 litters, and kennels must be cleaned once a day.

They’ll simply put your new pup safely on a plane to make its way to you!
The modern Beagles that we know today were bred by Beagle breeders and businesses in Great Britain around the 1830s. They were created from a mix of a few dogs including the Southern Hound, Talbot Hound, North Country Beagle, and possibly the Harrier. However the history of Beagles actually goes back to 400 BC to Greek documents that described Beagle-like dogs.
Ask any Beagle breeder or business, and they’ll tell you that Beagles are scent dogs that love walking around sniffing everything around them. They love walking around on a daily basis discovering new scents and places. Be wary that these dogs follow scents and can wander off, so if you have a backyard, make sure it’s fenced off.
Beagle breeders, businesses and companies raise Beagle puppies that have a sense of smell that’s superior to many other dog breeds out there. They also have amazing tracking skills. Beagles are commonly used to sniff out illicit agricultural imports and quarantined food. They’re wonderful family dogs, as they have lots of energy and great personalities!
Every Beagle breeder, business and company raises pups that may look different to one another. Beagles’ coats come in a rainbow of colors, such as lemon, white, chocolate, red and white, orange and white, chocolate and white, as well as chocolate tricolor. Take a look through Uptown Puppies and choose the Beagle with the colors you’re most attracted to!
Beagles have shorter hair than many dog breeds out there. Your Beagle breeder will advise you to brush your Beagle every 2 days, and only wash it every 6 to 8 weeks, as its skin can be sensitive to over-washing. However, since it follows scents, there are days it’ll come home dirty. It’s important to note that it’s not a hypoallergenic dog, and sheds hair.
Beagle breeders, businesses and companies are proud to have raised Beagles that have been in movies such as 2001’s Cats & Dogs, 2006’s Saving Shiloh, 2007’s Underdog, 2010’s Marmaduke, 2010’s Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, 2015’s The Peanut Movie, 2019’s A Dog’s Journey, and more!
Every single Beagle breeder, business and company that raises Beagle puppies feeds them high-quality food that they enjoy. Beagles aren’t particularly picky eaters, and enjoy both dry and wet food. When they’re pups, they need to eat 2 cups of food split between 2 or 3 meals, and when they’re adults, 1-2 cups of food split between 2 meals.
