One hour of exercise a day is the standard requirement for a Shiba Inu, meaning they are more active than some breeds, but not as active as others. They can get frustrated if they don’t get enough exercise, and this can lead to potentially destructive behavior. They need lots of stimulation, and a daily walk and lots of playtime back at home is recommended.
Yes, the Shiba Inu breeders in our network are all experts at arranging puppy travel. If you find your perfect puppy from a breeder or business on the other side of the country, they can arrange transport, which often involves you picking up your new puppy at your nearest major airport (apart from Hawaii or Alaska).
If you want to know that you are getting a healthy and happy puppy from a great place, Uptown is the place to start your search. Shiba Inus have a reputation for being more difficult to train than some other breeds. They can be very stubborn! But that doesn’t mean you cannot train your dog. They need to find the training stimulating, so you will have to put effort into it, and you will also need to be patient with them to get the best results from training.
The Shiba Inu breeders and businesses you’ll find in our network do not set out to provide the cheapest puppies. They maintain exceptional breeding standards and specialize in providing a boutique experience and puppy transportation. If you want to know your puppy has come from a great place, find it in our network today.
All the Shiba Inu breeders and businesses in our network provide very detailed health checks for all their puppies. They check everything from their eyes to their cardiovascular systems to make sure they are healthy. However, it’s still important to take your puppy to your vet for a checkup when it arrives.
When you get a Shiba Inu, it will need to be groomed regularly, but they do not require as much grooming as some other breeds. Shiba Inus have lovely double coats, and you should ideally give your dog a bath as much as once a week. You should also ensure you give your dog a good regular brush to ensure its coat looks beautiful.
