They are affectionate, intelligent, and incredibly loyal, often forming strong bonds with their owners. They require consistent but moderate exercise, such as daily brisk walks and off-leash playtime activities. The breed loves to interact with humans, as well as other animals, and is suited for a variety of living environments from apartment-living to farm life.
The Aussiedoodle coat is typically medium in length with a slightly wavy texture. It is uncommon for them to have a long, flat coat like other Poodle mixes. Their coat is usually quite soft to the touch and often features unique colors and patterns. Generally, Aussiedoodles have a blend of colors from their Poodle and Australian Shepherd heritage, ranging from white to solid black and everything in between such as gray, blue merle, brindle, and sable. With proper grooming, the coat should be an attractive addition to an already beautiful breed of dog.
Aussiedoodles do indeed have particular dietary needs that should be taken into account when caring for them. While their diets are not necessarily incredibly different from other dogs, they have specific needs that need to be considered.
