Questions & Answers
Wondering how much are Saint Bernards? These big dogs can come in a variety of prices, which is why it’s important to connect with an ethical breeder. Price can vary based on whether your Saint Bernard is long-haired or short-haired, whether it's purebred or a mixed, hybrid breed, and much more.
If you live near a major American airport, then you’re all set! That’s because businesses and breeders in the Uptown Network can easily set up travel accommodations for your puppy and arrange for them to arrive at your nearest airport. Check with your breeder for more details on how to give your puppy wings!
With so many scams out there, it’s hard to find a legitimate, ethical dog breeder these days. We’ve created a strict evaluation system (backed by our binding Breeder Pledge) that ensures less than 10% of our breeder partner applicants are approved. That means you won’t find any backyard breeders or scams here!
When you search on other search engines for “st.bernard puppies price” or “st. Bernard puppies for sale,” you’re typically seeing websites who have “won” at marketing. These breeders aren’t necessarily the best breeders, though! We take it to the next level by only listing ethical, experienced St. Bernard breeders and businesses.
We understand that Saint Bernard puppy prices are often a big concern for new dog owners, but constantly searching for rock-bottom prices could mean that you bring home a sickly, mistreated puppy mill dog. These dogs often suffer from genetic illnesses, and could cost your family thousands in extra vet bills!
No matter what kind of St Bernard dog for sale you’re looking for, connecting with a breeder/company in our network is your best bet! Long-haired, short-haired, purebred, hybrid St. Bernard breeds—when it comes to finding the dog of your dreams, you’re exactly where you need to be!
St. Bernards were bred nearly a thousand years ago in the Alps at Switzerland’s Hospice Saint Bernard. The breed was originally created to protect the grounds of the hospice, to brave the extreme weather of the Alps, and to rescue lost travelers—and most famously, those unfortunate enough to be caught in an avalanche.
Saint Bernards are massive dogs who can prove too much to handle for those who don’t do enough research. Although they don’t need as much physical activity as you might think, they still need enough space to stretch out and move around—or else you might find your furniture knocked over (by accident, of course).
