Aussiedoodles are incredibly unique and interesting dogs. They are a hybrid breed that is a cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle, resulting in a low-shedding pooch that has the working nature of the herding dog and the intelligence of the Poodle. As a breed, they are very energetic and loyal—giving their owners true 'Velcro dog' loyalty that is both astounding and rewarding. In addition to the incredible intelligence and intense loyalty, Aussiedoodles are also cheerful, easy going, and gentle with children.
Aussiedoodles are often considered to be non-shedding dogs due to their low-shedding parent breeds. However, it is important to note that mixed-breed dogs may differ in their shedding levels from the parent breeds. Generally speaking, Aussiedoodles tend to be light shedders, thus their shedding is minimal and not constant. Grooming the dog on a regular basis will help to keep the shedding to a minimum.
Aussiedoodles may be small and cute, but it's important to remember that they are a crossbreed between two different dog breeds – the Australian Shepherd and the Poodle. As such, they have specific dietary needs. For the best health of your Aussiedoodle, you should avoid feeding them table scraps, especially foods high in fat. Additionally, processed foods such as canned dog food, rawhide, bones, and sweets can be unhealthy for them and should be avoided.

Medium Aussiedoodles measure 17 to 20 inches in height and weigh up to 40 pounds. A Standard Aussiedoodle can reach up to 23 inches in height and weigh up to 70 pounds.
