They are a hybrid of an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle, which makes them a great combination of intelligence, athleticism, and affection. They often have a unique color and coat, which can be speckled, merle, solids, sable, brindle, and more. They are an obedient and loyal breed, highly trainable, and generally very friendly and playful. They love spending time with their family and enjoy participation in outdoor activities.
Aussiedoodles are considered a low to no-shedding breed. They generally have a dense, tight coat that keeps the majority of shedding to a minimum. Like any breed, Aussiedoodles will shed a small amount of fur but they will not leave clumps of fur around the house or on your furniture. Because the coat is so tight, the shedding level is lower than other breeds of dogs and you will not need to do excessive brushing to keep loose fur under control.
Aussiedoodles are an intelligent and high-energy breed, so it is important to be mindful of what you feed them.
