They are often referred to as designer dogs because they are purposely bred to combine the intelligence and loyalty of the Australian Shepherd with the friendliness and non-shedding coat of the Poodle. Aussiedoodles are generally very social dogs and they thrive when around people. They are usually outgoing, gentle, and loving to their human companions.
