As a designer breed, Aussiedoodles combine the intelligence and agility of an Aussie with the trainability and sociability of a Poodle. These dogs typically weigh 25-50 pounds and have a double-coated, wavy to curly fur. Aussiedoodles tend to be loyal, alert, and friendly, and require an active lifestyle to maintain both their physical and mental health.
Aussiedoodles can range from having low to moderate-level shedding depending on their genetic background. On the surface, they can appear to be non-shedding since their fur is usually tightly curled, however they do shed some. Most of the fur is trapped in the curls, meaning weekly brushing is necessary.
