Aussiedoodles are a cross between an Australian Sheepdog and a Poodle, making them a hybrid or designer breed. They are highly intelligent, easily-trained, and have an outgoing and affectionate personality. Because they combine traits from both parent breeds, Aussiedoodles can come in a variety of colors and sizes, and usually have sturdy and athletic builds. This varied appearance makes them a unique breed that stands out among others.
Aussiedoodles are considered hypoallergenic, meaning they are less likely to trigger allergies. While all dogs can cause allergies in some people, Aussiedoodles are considered to be among the best dog breeds for allergy sufferers. Not all Aussiedoodles are hypoallergenic, but the breed in general is one of the least likely to aggravate allergy symptoms. To determine if a particular Aussiedoodle may cause allergies, it is recommended to meet with the breeder beforehand and consult with an allergist.
