Aussiedoodles are a crossbreed of an Australian Shepard and a Poodle. This popular designer breed has grown in popularity over the years due to their intelligence, loyalty, and fun-loving nature. They can range in size, often taking on the traits of either parent breed in terms of size. As far as their temperament and personality, Aussiedoodles are known to be wonderful family dogs that are full of energy and love to play, but also enjoy getting pampered and cuddled.
The Aussiedoodle coat is a unique combination of the Australian Shepherd and the Poodle breeds, so it can vary in texture and color. Generally, they have a thick, curly coat that is soft to the touch with medium to long hair. Aussiedoodles usually have two coat colors, a solid primary color and a secondary color, usually white, around their neck, chest, and tail. Some also have a merle patterning, which creates a mottled color.
Aussiedoodles, like any creature, should only be fed food that is specifically formulated for their dietary needs. As with all breeds, they should not be fed human food that isn't designed for pets, as this could lead to nutritional deficiencies and/or digestive issues. Additionally, it is best to avoid feeding Aussiedoodles high-fat foods, table scraps, foods that contain additional “fillers” (such as various added sugars and starches), or foods that have unpleasant or unhealthy spices added to them.
