They are considered to be a designer breed, due to their selective combining of these two breeds. Aussiedoodles tend to be friendly, social, and easily trained, easily adapting to their environment, and are an all-around excellent family pet.
The Aussiedoodle’s coat is fairly low maintenance and comes in a variety of colors and textures. Generally, the breed has a soft, curly coat that may be wavy or wiry, and can range from fine and silky to thick and fluffy. They often display a mix of fantail or skipjack, with the classic wavy or curly shape of their parent breeds. They usually have straight or almond-shaped muzzle, with a wide set of eyes and nose.
