Aussiedoodles are a cross between the Australian Shepherd and the Poodle. This making them an active and intelligent breed! Aussiedoodles' size and coat type depends on the parent breeds used to create them. These playful pups have an affectionate and loving personality that makes them a great choice for families. Their coats have minimal shedding, and since they're considered a hypoallergenic breed that definitely makes them even better. Additionally, they respond well to positive reinforcement training and are great with children and other pets.
Aussiedoodles are a relatively low-shedding breed, which can make them a suitable choice for those with allergies. However, it is important to remember that even though they are considered a hypoallergenic dog, they can still cause allergic reactions in some people. It is best to spend time around an Aussiedoodle first to determine whether or not you will have an allergic reaction. You should also understand that spending more time with the dog, as well as exposure to their droppings, can increase the chances of a reaction.
Aussiedoodles, like any other canine breed, require a diet of high quality, nutritionally balanced kibble. This should be made up largely of fresh meats, as they are carnivorous by nature, with some carbohydrates and fats as well. An ideal diet should include plenty of lean beef, chicken, fish (such as salmon, tuna, or trout), as well as whole grains such as rice, oats and quinoa.
