Aussiedoodles are an extremely popular designer breed created by crossing the Australian Shepherd and the Poodle, and they make wonderful family pets! Aussiedoodles are highly intelligent, loyal, and energetic, and generally require a lot of activity and mental stimulation. They are generally good with children and get along great with other dogs and cats. Aussiedoodles are generally medium-sized dogs, ranging from 18" to 22" high and weighing between 20-55 pounds as adults.
Aussiedoodle coats are usually soft and slightly wavy or curly. They can range in color from white to black, and can also include shades of gray, rust, and red. The coat tends to be on the shorter side, so the breed typically needs lighter grooming than some of its Poodle relatives.
