Aussiedoodles, often referred to as Aussiepoo, is a hybrid breed that is the result of a cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Standard or Miniature Poodle. They are considered to be an Aussiedoodle mix because the breed is not yet officially recognized by the American Kennel Club. Aussiedoodles typically have a medium-length, dense, wavy, and low-shedding coat that comes in a variety of colors, such as black and white, merle, sable, merle tri-color, and more.
Aussiedoodles, a hybrid designer breed, have a unique coat, many of which contain both the non-shedding traits of the Australian Labradoodle, and the shedding traits of the Poodle. The hybrid crosses can vary in their shedding tendencies. Depending on the proportions of each of the breeds in the cross, there is the potential for an Aussiedoodle to be non-shedding. If both parents are non-shedding, the puppies will also be non-shedding.
An Aussiedoodle should be fed a well-balanced diet of quality food formulated for their age and size. Your vet can help you choose a food that is appropriate.
