Aussiedoodles are a hybrid dog breed, a mix of the Australian Shepherd and the Poodle. Aussiedoodles are known for their intelligence and loyalty, making them wonderful family pets. They require moderate exercise and grooming, so it's important to consider the time and dedication needed for their care before buying an Aussiedoodle. Aussiedoodles need regular socialization to stay healthy and energetic, so bonding with them is key.
Aussiedoodles have a combination of Australian Shepherd and Poodle genes which can ensure they have a low-shedding, hypoallergenic coat. Hypoallergenic dogs are recommended for people with allergies because the amount of dander and shedding are typically lower with these breeds; however, it is impossible to guarantee that a dog of any breed will be 100% allergen free.
Aussiedoodles should not be fed dairy, as they are lactose intolerant and can develop digestive issues if given dairy products. They should also be avoided fatty meats and junk food. Garlic, onions, and other foods known to cause gastrointestinal upset and/or irritation should also be excluded from their diet. Moreover, chocolate and other sugary treats which are toxic to animals must not be given to Aussiedoodles. Additionally, staples from human diets such as coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages should never be given to them.
