This unique combination makes a loving, intelligent, and friendly dog that loves to run and play. They often possess the herding instinct of the Australian Shepherd along with the intelligence of the Poodle and often have unique markings. Aussiedoodles typically need regular physical activity and mental stimulation, and due to their intelligence, they can learn basic commands quickly and easily.
Aussiedoodles can cause pet allergies when their fur, dander, saliva, or urine come into contact with the allergic person. However, most people will not experience allergy symptoms from an Aussiedoodle as these dogs are often hypoallergenic.
