An Aussiedoodle is a designer breed that is a cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle. Aussiedoodles are incredibly loyal and intelligent dogs, who will form strong bonds with their owners. They are known for being versatile and able to adapt to an array of lifestyles due to their trainability. They boast a lowto non-shedding coat that produces little-to-no dander, resulting in less mess.
It is certainly possible for Aussiedoodles to cause you to be allergic. Since Aussiedoodles are a relatively new breed, there isn't a lot of solid data on their effects on allergies. However, since they are a hybrid of both the Australian Shepherd and the Poodle, both of which are known to be hypoallergenic breeds, many owners who have had Aussiedoodles report that they do not cause their own allergies to become exacerbated.
Aussiedoodles enjoy a high-quality diet that consists of a nutrient-dense formulated food made from real ingredients, such as lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables. Dry kibble can be supplemented with wet food or homemade dishes. It is important to provide well-measured meals throughout the day to maintain a balanced diet. Treats should be fresh and limited to 10% of their meal; this may include some fresh fruits, cooked vegetables, hard-boiled eggs, and plain yogurt.
Aussiedoodles do not require any special attention compared to other breeds. They do however, need regular mental and physical stimulation. Exercise, training and socialization is especially important for this energetic breed. To keep them healthy, they should be taken on walks or runs at least once a day, and should have access to plenty of fresh air and sunlight.
