They have long, curly coats that tend to shed very little. They are considered hypoallergenic so they make great choices for those with pet allergies. They are also incredibly loyal and have a strong desire to please their masters, which makes them very easy to train. Despite their small size, they are quite outdoorsy and active and love to go out in the yard and take long walks.
The Aussiedoodle coat is a mix of two beautiful coats the Australian Shepherd coat and the Poodle coat. The Australian Shepherd gives the Aussiedoodle a longer and more weather resistant coat. The Poodle gives the Aussiedoodle a beautiful and fluffy coat. Depending on the generation of Aussiedoodle you have, their coats can be anywhere from wire-like or shorthaired, to silky smooth or wavy, to poodle-like curls. Generally, Aussiedoodles are low shedding and don't require tons of grooming.
