They are a crossbreed between an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle, with three sizes available toy, mini, and standard. Aussiedoodles are loyal and protective of their families, making them excellent watchdogs but still great family companions. They are also incredibly trainable and respond well to consistent and positive reinforcement. Their fluffy coats are soft to the touch and can come in a variety of colors, typically black, tan, red, and apricot.
Aussiedoodles are a hybrid breed whose parents are the Poodle and the Australian Shepherd, and the amount that they shed will depend on which parent's coat they inherited the most. That said, the amount of shedding can be greatly reduced if the Aussiedoodle's coat is often groomed and frequently brushed.
