Aussiedoodles are known for their loving, loyal, and friendly personalities. They have a unique combination of the Poodle's intelligence and the Australian Shepherd's people-pleasing nature. While they have a moderate activity level and love cuddling, they also need regular exercise to stay healthy and happy. They are also well known for being very obedient and eager to please. Their coats can range from short and wispy to thick and curly; their colors can include black, brown, white, gray, blue, red, cream, and even sable.
The Aussiedoodle coat is usually medium to long in length. It usually has a softer feel and tends to be curly, wavy, or even a bit wispy. Depending on the parent breeds, the coat can come in a variety of colors, including black, apricot, cream, white, gold, blue merle, red merle, and more. This hybrid breed is also generally low to moderate shedding and can have a wavy, curly, or straight texture. The coat requires fairly low maintenance grooming and occasional brushing to keep it looking its best.
Aussiedoodles are unique in that they have a specific dietary need. It's important to provide your Aussiedoodle with a balanced diet that is tailored specifically to their needs. Check with your veterinarian to make sure that your Aussiedoodle is healthy enough to handle the physical exercise and consider how old they are (puppies may not be ready for runs).
