Aussiedoodles are classified as a designer breed, created by cross-breeding two beloved canines: the Australian Shepherd and the Poodle. Designated by its signature, thick coat, Aussiedoodles are a beautiful combination of the Australian Shepherd, known for its intelligence and loyalty, and the Poodle, known for being an agile and active breed. With their hybrid ancestry, Aussiedoodles are usually high-energy, easy to train, and obedient. They also tend to be allergy-friendly because of the individual breeds’ resistance to shedding.
Aussiedoodles possess a beautiful, soft coat that comes in a variety of colors. Depending on the parent breeds, their coat can range from being wavy and soft to straight and silky. Depending on the coat type, Aussiedoodles will need to be brushed at least two to three times a week and will need regular grooming such as monthly baths and trims.
