An Aussiedoodle is an energetic and intelligent designer hybrid dog breed. A cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle, these playful pups inherited the best of both breeds. Aussiedoodles exhibit an even-temperament, are highly trainable and often shed less than the average dog due to the combination of coat varieties. Generally, they have a mini size with soft, wavy fur and come in a variety of sizes, colors and textures. Aussiedoodles are loyal, affectionate and thrive on socializing and exercise.
Aussiedoodles can be considered hypoallergenic because of their furr coat. This breed of dog is a mix of an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle and they have a low dander and non-shedding wavy coat. Because the coat is low matting, regular grooming and brushing is necessary for the dog to remain healthy and to remove any dirt or debris that may accumulate. If a person has allergies and would like to welcome an Aussiedoodle into their home, they should have a conversation with their doctor to evaluate the issue further.
Aussiedoodles generally have similar dietary needs to other mixed breed dogs. They require a balanced diet which includes a variety of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals.
