They are medium-sized with a weight range of 20 to 65 pounds, and have a curly coat that is hypoallergenic and relatively low-shedding. Bernedoodles are intelligent, loyal, and active, making them great family pets. They require daily exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of affection and attention.
The Bernedoodle coat can vary from canine to canine. Generally, they have a medium to long length coat that is thick and wavy, making them a great companion for cold weather. Bernedoodles may have a tri-color pattern, or only one or two solid colors. It's not uncommon to see Bernedoodles with a variety of colors including black, brown, red, and white.
