With both their Poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog genes, Bernedoodles are incredibly smart and they can be trained easily. A big plus is that Bernedoodles typically do well with obedience and agility training, so you can spend lots of time having fun with them and teaching them cool skills. They are also very affectionate and have a great sense of humour, making them ideal companions for any family.
Bernedoodles are non-shedding, but they may need occasional grooming to maintain a clean and healthy coat. They require minimal grooming, and because their coat type is a combination of the Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle, it helps to reduce shedding. Bernedoodles have a low dander coat, meaning that their fur will not produce much of anything that causes allergic reactions.
