A Bernedoodle is a designer hybrid cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. This pup is highly intelligent and friendly, and makes an excellent family dog. The Bernedoodle is wary of strangers, rarely aggressive, and usually well-mannered. Bernedoodles are an active breed who require plenty of exercise and plenty of love. They also tend to require consistent grooming due to their long hair. With the right owner, they can be a very rewarding companion. The Bernedoodle coat is a beautiful combination of both the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle. It can range from a wavy, low to non-shedding coat to a curlier one that looks more like a Bernese Mountain Dog.
