They are known as “designer dogs”, meaning they are a breed that has been specifically created to combine the best traits from two separate breeds. Bernedoodles are popular family dogs due to their sweet, loyal, and friendly personalities, as well as their hypoallergenic and low-to-no-shedding coats.
The Bernedoodle coat is a combination of the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Standard Poodle. They are a low to non-shedding breed that comes in a variety of colors; black, black & white, and brown & white are the most popular. The Bernedoodle coat also varies in length with options of either a standard, curly, or wavy texture.
