The Bernedoodle's coat can be smooth, wavy, curly, or a combination of styles, with colors ranging from brown, gold, black, white, cream, sable, or tri-colored.
The Bernedoodle coat is a hybrid of a Bernese Mountain Dog's long, silky coat, and a Poodle's curly coat. This combination creates a coat that is soft and fluffy, ranging between wavy to straight or lightly curled, with some Bernedoodles having a more fuzzy coat. They tend to shed minimally, making them an excellent choice for allergy sufferers.
