They are a hybrid of Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles, which allows them to inherit the best of both breeds a smart and highly trainable Standard Poodle mixed with the loyal and family-oriented Bernese Mountain Dog. Because Bernedoodles are hybrid breeds, they are usually incredibly healthy and less prone to genetic disorders and illnesses.
Bernedoodles are considered to be a hypoallergenic breed and generally do not shed a lot; however, while they do not shed as much as other breeds, they can still leave some hair around, and regular brushing and grooming is recommended. This hybrid breed is created by crossing a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, and it is still fairly new to the canine world.
Bernedoodles have very specific dietary needs, so it's important to know what not to feed them.
