The Bernedoodle is a designer crossbreed that combines the intelligence of a Poodle with the loyalty of a Bernese Mountain Dog to create an extremely smart, social and friendly companion. Not only are Bernedoodles beautiful, but they are also low-shedders and are generally hypoallergenic, making them a great addition to any home. They have high energy levels and require a healthy dose of exercise and mental stimulation every day. They are intelligent and love to please, making them easy to train.
The Bernedoodle coat is a unique hybrid, combining the Bernese Mountain Dog's tri-colored, beautiful long coat and the Poodle's low-shedding characteristics. This breed has a low to non-shedding coat, which is curly to wavy in texture. The coat can range from medium in length to long. The Bernedoodle has an outer coat that is thicker and requires regular grooming, but the inner coat is soft, and insulates them against colder climates.
Bernedoodles typically eat a combination of wet and dry food that is high in quality proteins and fiber to ensure healthy digestion and balanced nutrition.
