Since they are a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, their coats are a blend of both types still fuzzy and soft like the Bernese, but not totally shaggy like the Poodle. The unique coat of Bernedoodles also means they are almost odorless and will need far less grooming than other breeds.

Generally speaking, Bernedoodles are considered to be non-shedding or low-shedding, making them ideal for those looking for a pet with minimal shedding.
