They’re also quite active and can make great family pets as they’re known to be great with children. When it comes to physical characteristics, Bernedoodles usually have wavy fur, and they typically have one solid colored coat with white or cream-colored markings. They may also have longer ears and thicker coats than other breeds.
Bernedoodles, as a hybrid breed of a poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog, are considered to be a low to non-shedding breed. The amount of shedding that Bernedoodles exhibit, if any, is dependent upon the traits of each parent breed. Poodles are renowned for their low-shedding capabilities, leaving little to no hair in their wake, while Bernese Mountain Dogs tend to shed a great deal.
