Bernedoodles are not hypoallergenic, as they are a hybrid of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle in which the former is not hypoallergenic. While Poodles are rated as one of the least allergenic breeds, when hybridized with a Bernese Mountain Dog, which does shed, the Bernedoodle breed are not hypoallergenic. However, they often are considered to be a low-shedding breed, producing less dander than many other dogs and more suitable for those with mild allergies.
