Bernedoodles are a hybrid cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, typically a Standard or Miniature. This lovable breed can range in size from small, typically weighing between 10-50 pounds, to large, which can weigh up to 90 pounds. Bernedoodles are known for being very smart, affectionate, and loyal dogs that make ideal family pets. They do well with children and are great for homes with multiple pets. This breed requires grooming on a regular basis and will shed very little.
Bernedoodles typically have a unique and beautiful coat. It can be long and wavy or curly or combinations of both. They have a thick double coat which is usually a combination of a Bernese Mountain Dog's long, silky coat, and a Poodle's thick, curly coat. This coat is typically low-shedding and hypoallergenic which makes them especially suited for people who suffer from allergies. Bernedoodles come in a range of colors, including black, brown, parti, grey and silver.
