They are a relatively new breed that is quickly gaining in popularity due to their intelligence, low-shedding coats, mild and loyal temperaments, and appealing combination of traits from both their parent breeds. Fully-grown Bernedoodles can range anywhere from 10-50 pounds depending on which sizes of Poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog are used when breeding.
The Bernedoodle coat is a truly unique combination of the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle. These two breeds have extremely different textures when it comes to their fur. The Bernedoodle coat combines the best of both worlds and tends to be thick with wavy fur.
