Bernedoodles are highly trainable and have been successful in a variety of activities such as agility, tracking, and flyball. Not only are they eager to please, but they also rarely shed and have hypoallergenic coats, making them ideal pets for those with allergies.
Bernedoodles are a hybrid cross breed of Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles. Although having a hypoallergenic coat may be advantageous for those with allergies, Bernedoodles are not entirely hypoallergenic. Because they are a mix of two different breeds, Bernedoodles will have a variety of coat textures depending on the parent breeds’ coat profile.
