Bernedoodles can be anywhere from lowto non-shedding depending on their parent breeds. They are a hybrid of Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle, both of which are considered to have low-shedding coats. Since Bernedoodles are a hybrid, their coat type and amount of shedding varies from dog to dog and is mostly determined by the Poodle parent. Standard Poodles typically have a higher shedding rate than Miniature or Toy Poodles, and some breeders may even mix a F1B Bernedoodle with a slightly higher shedding rate.
