Not only are Bernedoodles incredibly beautiful and loyal companions, but they also have a laid-back yet playful temperament. Their intelligence also means they are easy to train, making them an entertaining addition to any family. Additionally, their hypoallergenic coat means that they are suitable for people with pet allergies, a trait rarely found in other breeds.
Bernedoodles are considered a crossbreed of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, so their hypoallergenic qualities can vary depending on the parent's genetics. In general, because the Bernese Mountain Dog breed is known to shed more than a poodle, it's recommended to consider a Bernedoodle bred from a F1B, or second-generation Bernedoodle crossed with a Toy or Miniature Poodle for the most hypoallergenic coat.

It is recommended that Bernedoodles get at least 45 minutes of exercise each day to remain healthy and happy. Of that time, it is beneficial to include 30 minutes of walking each day. This can be split into two separate 30-minute walks, or combined to form a single, more vigorous walk of up to an hour.
