Bernedoodles are a unique class of designer dogs created by crossing a Bernese Mountain Dog with a Poodle. The Bernedoodle is an intelligent dog with an affectionate nature. They typically weigh between 25 and 50 pounds and have a double coat that can vary from wavy to curly. They can either have a hypoallergenic coat, or a coat that does not shed. Their intelligence and adaptability makes them an ideal family dog, often used as therapy and service dogs. On average, Bernedoodles live up to fifteen years, making them a great companion.
Bernedoodles do have a hypoallergenic coat, which means they don't shed naturally. However, that does not mean you cannot experience any allergy symptoms.
