This very rare designer breed combines the best features of the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle, creating an incredibly loveable canine companion. Fun facts about Bernedoodles include that they are highly intelligent; they have great adaptability; they bond closely with their families; and they are low-shedding and hypoallergenic. They also love interacting with people and tend to do very well in activities such as agility and obedience.
Bernedoodles are generally known to be non-shedding, meaning they produce less dander, the material that usually causes allergic reactions. While it’s true that Bernedoodles produce less dander, they cannot be guaranteed to be hypoallergenic. It’s a misconception to assume that any dog with non-shedding fur is hypoallergenic; some breeds are just better than others for reducing allergic reactions.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to the question of what the best dog food for Bernedoodles is.
