Specifically, Bernedoodles are a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, which is why they have the 'doodle' suffix in their name. Bernedoodles are a relatively new breed and were developed in the early 2000s. They are considered to be a "Medium Size" dog breed and typically grow to 2-3 feet tall and 40-80lbs.
