Bernedoodles are a designer breed of dog that is a hybrid mix of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. They are known for being very affectionate and loyal companions with an even temperament. Bernedoodles come in three sizes including Standard, Mini, and Toy sized. Whereas the Standard can weigh up to 100 pounds, the Mini Bernedoodles can weigh around 25-37 pounds, and the Toy can be between 13-19 pounds.
Bernedoodles are a designer breed that combines the Bernese Mountain Dog with a Poodle. While they are not typically considered to be a hypoallergenic breed, they do possess qualities that can make them ideal for those with allergies. Because both the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle have low shedding coats, the Bernedoodle will inherit this trait as a result of its genetic composition. This often leads to fewer airborne allergens present in the home.
Bernedoodles have a strong appetite and require a complete and balanced diet with proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.
