Bernedoodles are hybrids between Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles, so their shedding habits will vary. Generally speaking, Bernedoodles tend to be the least shedding of the designer or hybrid breeds. However, their coats can still develop a thicker, denser undercoat than their Poodle parent, making them more prone to seasonal shedding. Many owners of Bernedoodles find that when groomed properly with regular brushing, they will shed very little to none at all. Keeping their coats clipped or shaved and doing regular brushing will also help reduce the amount of shedding.
