They are relatively large dogs that come in a range of sizes, from the Toy size of 10-20 pounds, to the Standard size that can weigh up to 80 pounds. Intellegence-wise, Bernedoodles can come close to the level of a Poodle. They are also typically known for being very loyal and sweet-natured, making them a good fit for families.
It is possible that Bernedoodles could cause allergies for some people. Since Bernedoodles are a crossbreed of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, any allergies you have to either breed may be the cause of future allergies. While Bernedoodles are usually a low-shedding breed, they are still capable of allergenic dander that may trigger reactions in those prone to allergies.
