In addition to being incredibly smart, Bernedoodles make great family pets due to their loving and affectionate nature, as well as low shedding coats and extreme loyalty to their owners. They also have the added bonus of being hypoallergenic, making them an ideal choice for those with allergies.
The Bernedoodle coat is a combination of the Bernese Mountain Dog's beautiful and distinctive long, thick, and silky coat, and the Poodle's hypoallergenic, curly coat. This breed's dense, soft, wavy fur varies in length but usually remains between medium and long. Bernedoodles require regular brushing and clipping since their coat is prone to matting and tangles.
