Bernedoodles are a designer dog breed created by mixing Bernese Mountain Dogs with Poodles. They embody the best of both breeds, combining the intelligence of Poodles and the easy-going nature of Bernese Mountain Dogs. Bernedoodles make great companions and are generally hypoallergenic due to their low-shedding coat. They thrive with consistent daily exercise, mental stimulation and positive reinforcement training. Since Bernedoodles are low-energy, they do best in a household where someone is home during the day.
Managing allergies with Bernedoodles can be done with careful attention to detail. As a hypoallergenic breed, Bernedoodles have very little shedding and are recommended for those with allergies.
