A Bernedoodle is a designer hybrid breed of dog that is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle and is considered to be highly intelligent and loyal companion animals. Bernedoodles have grown increasingly popular in recent years as they have attributes of both parent breeds such as intelligence and trainability of the poodle and loyal and gentle personality of the Bernese Mountain Dog. They come in a variety of sizes, ranging from the toy size which weigh 7-10 lbs, to the standard size which can weigh up to 70-90 lbs.
Bernedoodles, a hybrid breed developed from crossing a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, are considered a low-shedding breed. They have a variety of coats that can range from slightly to heavily shedding. The heavier the coat is, the more likely it is to shed, and the lighter the coat is, the less likely it is for shedding to occur. While this breed of dog is considered low-shedding, they will still shed some hair. In addition, these dogs need regular brushing to manage their coat.
