Bernedoodles are a cross between Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles, making them incredibly intelligent, low-shedding and hypoallergenic companion dogs. They are usually incredibly friendly, social and affectionate, making them perfect for people of all ages. Bernedoodles come in several sizes, ranging from the standard Bernedoodle (45-100 pounds) to the miniature (15-30 pounds). These pups have a moderate to high energy level and need to be taken on regular walks and activities.
Bernedoodles can be a great option for people with allergies, but they do still require some management. There are a few steps you can take to minimize your exposure to allergens when caring for a Bernedoodle. Vacuuming and sweeping often are important to reduce built-up of allergens such as dust, dirt, and dander.
