They are a cross of a Bernese mountain dog and a poodle, and they're an especially popular choice for families with young children. Bernedoodles are incredibly smart, with inherited intelligence from both their parent breeds. They're quite friendly and loyal pets, and can be a great addition to the household. It's important to remember that they are fairly large dogs, and therefore require a lot of daily exercise and stimulation.
The Bernedoodle coat can vary in length, depending on the ratio between the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle in the mix.
