Bernedoodles come in three sizes-the standard, the miniature, and the toy. Each size ranges from approximately 55 to 80 lbs and all three are highly trainable and loyal companions. They make great family dogs and their intelligence and good temperament make them a great choice for first-time owners.
Bernedoodles are generally considered to be non-shedding dogs. This hypoallergenic breed is a mix of a Bernese mountain dog and a poodle so they take on some of the best traits from each breed. Poodles are hypoallergenic so their non-shedding coats are being inherited by the Bernedoodle. This makes them a great breed for allergy sufferers who would normally be unable to have a dog.

Regular walks and playtime as well as occasional trips to the dog park can also help ensure that your Bernedoodle is sufficiently exercised.
