Bernedoodles are a hybrid cross breed of Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles, resulting in a beautiful, intelligent, and easy going hybrid dog breed. Bernedoodles can come in a variety of colors, such as a creamy white, solid brown, or a beautiful tri-color of black, white and rust. Not only are Bernedoodles lovable, they are also hypoallergenic. Bernedoodles are high-energy and are known for their loyal and sweet demeanor. With proper training and exercise, Bernedoodles make great family pets.
Bernedoodles have a very desirable coat that is a combination of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. The coat is typically long and can come in a variety of colors from traditional black to tri-colored. In some cases, their coat even has a silvery sheen. The coat can be kept short but is typically kept a bit longer for the traditional Bernedoodle look. Bernedoodle coats are very low-shedding and require regular brushing to prevent matting. With proper care and maintenance, the Bernedoodle coat can stay healthy and looking beautiful.
Bernedoodles typically eat a nutrient-rich, high-quality commercial dog food that's appropriate for their breed size and age. Generally, the ratio of protein and fat should be approximately 40 percent and 25-30 percent respectively.
